Recently, the Ministry of Education has released the standards for the allocation of teaching equipment in seven subjects including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, general technology and information technology in regular senior high schools. This move aims to improve the standard system for the allocation of teaching equipment in primary and secondary schools, standardize and guide the scientific allocation of teaching equipment in regular senior high schools across the country, and accelerate the high-quality development of basic education.
The configuration standards are fundamentally guided by the principle of serving the construction of an educational power. Based on the general high school curriculum plan and standards, and in combination with the actual needs of experimental teaching, they aim to address issues such as "why to configure", "what to configure", "how to configure", and "how well to configure", providing strong support for the practical teaching of compulsory, selective compulsory and elective courses. The standard development adheres to systematic thinking, emphasizing not only the consolidation of common foundations but also fully considering differentiated demands. Through a diversified solution combining basic configuration and optional configuration, it meets the teaching needs of different levels such as basic experiments, extended experiments, and innovative experiments. Focusing on the strategic deployment of digitalization in education, efforts will be made to promote the intelligent upgrade of teaching equipment, add digital, intelligent and green teaching devices, and accelerate the construction of an information-based experimental teaching environment. At the same time, strictly control the quality and safety standards of equipment, scientifically set technical parameter indicators, clarify teaching performance requirements, and strengthen safety and environmental protection norms. At the application level, the educational orientation should be highlighted, and corresponding guidance and suggestions for experimental and practical activities should be provided to effectively promote the organic integration of educational equipment with curriculum standards and teaching practices.
The implementation and application of the configuration standards will play a positive role in improving the conditions for high school education, consolidating the construction of basic disciplines, and cultivating students' scientific literacy and innovative spirit.
